EcoChallenge: Nature Sensitive Future – Project Certificates Awarded

Image
The "EcoChallenge: Nature Sensitive Future" eTwinning project has successfully reached its conclusion. As part of this international initiative, 7th-grade students at Şehit Resul Şimşek Secondary School have officially received their participation certificates. Over the course of the project, students engaged in a comprehensive curriculum focusing on renewable energy, soil conservation, and zero-waste practices. They collaborated with peers from different countries, utilizing Web 2.0 tools to create digital content, joint poems, and upcycled designs. This process allowed them to practice their English language skills in authentic, real-life contexts while developing a strong foundation in global environmental awareness. The certificates acknowledge their active involvement, digital literacy development, and commitment to sustainable living. We congratulate all participating students for their contributions and the successful completion of their project tasks.

Thanks to this project we are studying our land soil and the soil in the Zingaro Natural Reserve  that was on fire two years ago . We decided to preserve the most endangered plant in our greenhouse. We have already create a small greenhouse. Next year we will go on . The project is The Phoenix Nursery and the reflections our students made on soil quality and preservation were really the basis of this project which links our school, the direction of natural Reserve. We are very proud of it
